She held the rock limply in her hand. She was out here, without any restrictions with it; a sense of comfort from the darkness that surrounded her. The rock fell to the ground as her hand tipped downward. Her eyes were focused on the water, the moon creating a façade of actually being presented there although far from the earth.
This was her time to practice once more, Terra needed absolute mastery before she went back to the titans and she understood the only way she would feel safe enough to do such was in the veil of the night.
Her hands turning the yellow color as the ground under her began to levitate and off Terra went. She was floating gracefully through the sky, just standing on the rock; this was really becoming peaceful. A thought grazed her mind as she looked down at the school wondering what they thought of her no longer being present there. As the rock began to tip downwards Terra nearly yelped in fear. It was nothing, she had lost concentration.
Swerving to the ground Terra understood she had hovering covered for her skills now she had to learn how to do all those strange talents Slade had forced her to do. What was it with making those rock people type things? Terra doubted she’d ever need them but practice was something she needed to accomplish in order to feel comfortable around here. She was probably the only titan to ever exist who hadn’t gained full control on her powers, and she wasn’t going to put up with that anymore.
The darkness grew old as the moon replaced itself in center sky, Terra looked at the water again weakly unsure what she was thinking, it was stupid of her to train so much when it was unlikely the teen titans would even accept her back, but Terra was determined to try. Her hands moving as a rock lifted from the ground then flew mid air into the water, Terra was pleased. Although she wasn’t to her full potential she was capable of managing her powers. She sat down on a rock looking out on the water her past haunting the crevices of her mind. A rock skipped against the water as Terra continued her dreaming, she really missed the titans. She missed Slade as well. Overall Terra missed company, someone to help her train her powers to their maximum capacity. [/center]

Sahoni sat on the shores watching the moon. He was always into the moon. From the time he was a small little puppy he spent he nights watching it. Was it because he was a Changer? Or was it a personal choice? Sahoni pushed those questions out of his mind with a physical wave of his hand as if that would get rid of them. Sahoni was born on the crescent moon, according to Grandpa Koga that means he's suppose to become a medicine man. He could always see spirits, so maybe there was credence to this theory. Sahoni sighed and started to go to sleep. But then he saw a yellow glow. Great spirit curse his curiosity, he had to check it out.

Skipping rocks against the lake was a good practice, well not really but it was something to keep her up and very nice to listen to. The rhythmic beat of the stone slapping against the water somehow provided a comfort to Terra. She looked up to the moon longingly; wishing that it would provide all her answers.
Yes, Terra has always been quite fond of those little things called short cuts though never had gotten off easy with them. All of life was a trial and Terra was soon learning that. Pushing to her feet Terra began to walk across the water wanting to touch the reflection of the moon on the water. Rocks rising and falling to the very beat of her step, Terra had grown an excessive amount since anyone had last seen her. Bending to her knee’s Terra’s hand reached out touching the water as though it would grant her very wish.
Everything about the cool night was relaxing and Terra was infatuated with the peace of it all.
But someone had just ruined that for her, foot prints close by. Spinning around on her heel Terra lost all concentration on staying above water and the rock sunk under, with it came the blonde flailing frantically. Already in the water before a small cry came out of her mouth. Terra was soaked and there was nothing she could possibly do about it. A rock rising to the surface again as Terra sloshed her way on top of it, “Great.” She muttered under her breath remembering the reason to why she submerged. The stone floated to the shore as Terra walked on, someone was here in the middle of the night when Terra was sure she’d be alone. “Who’s there?” she stuttered looking into the darkness unsure of herself. She was ready to attack though she looked like quite the show.
Dripping wet, hair soaked and pulled down against her face, her hands clenched into a ball. Whoever this was really was going to get it unless they proved harmless.

Sahoni blushed nervously. Should he go out, reveal himself? It's to late to run... the wolf said. You might as well go out like a true warrior and face her. he could practically see the wolf side Cheshire Cat like smile. You just wanna fight don't you? Sahoni thought as he strode through the bushes. "Perhaps, but that is irrelevant... What is though is the fact that your not very stealthy for a wolf." he said with an insane laugh in his head. Sahoni's golden feral eyes blinked as he saw Terra. The girl was really pretty in a tomboy-ish way, which of course made Sahoni blush even more. "H-H-hello there." Sahoni stuttered nervously. Part of the nervousness was because she was pretty, most of it was because she was a person. "I saw what you where doing...pretty impressive. I'd trade my powers for yours any day.."

Terra felt her heart race as the footsteps gained on her, he was really getting closer. Soon she heard a voice, it belonged to a male but it wasn’t that of an old man but rather someone in adolescence. She looked at him and smiled a bit, he was blushing? But why? She had already forgotten about her defenses and looked him over critically.
“Hi…” she said still looking at him eyes shone blue while she wondered what he could possibly doing her at this hour of night, but wouldn’t he think the same thing? She lifted her hand to feel her still wet hair beads of water falling down the side of her face. My word, she must have looked like a mess no wonder this kid was blushing.
Her hands pulled at her hair as she thought over his newest statement critique, he rather have her powers? Squeezing her hands tight around the hair water rushed out of the blonde locks onto the ground below. “I’m not too sure you’d want my powers, they aren’t too easy.” She said shrugging as she began to pace attempting to keep warm in these sodden down clothes. ‘Stupid Powers’ She thought to herself a tad upset she was soaked and now there was this boy here to make it all the more pleasant. He seemed pretty nice, but still Terra wasn’t going to get a new pair of clothes, or dry off soon. Well, she really had been alone it wasn’t like she had much to change into. Maybe he’d offer her his place? She understood that it was stupid for her to do that again but she was wet, cold, and this guy seemed nice enough. She hoped he wouldn’t be a part of the Teen Titans though, that wouldn’t be a good situation.

Sahoni blushed and pulled down his hood shyly to reveal his face. "Osiyo, my name is Tennessee Sahoni Waya. I'm a, well, for lack of a better term, a werewolf." he said. "Terrakinesis is alot more fun then going insane and vandalizing alleys with claw marks." he said with a small laugh. "I'm sorry if I interrupted something. I live near here and I got really curious and had to cheek it out. To my surprise I stumbled upon you. Sahoni spoke in a voice that the forest itself would speak in. He pushed aside his hair with one hand. and stuck his out to her to shake hand in a friendly manner. "I'll build a fire if you wish..."

ooc:// sorry about all the gramatical errors in the last post, i'll get better at fixing them once i have more free time. currently i'm attempting to clean my room. =D! YAY CLEANING!
She took his hand happily shaking it, “Well my name’s Terra…” she said grinning, he was really opening up to her and she enjoyed it. “As you could see I manipulate earth. You know… stones and stuff.”
Droplets of water still fell down her back as she looked around thinking about what she could do for a new pair of clothing, “A fire? You can do that?” she asked quite the bit curious. She really was starting to like this guy, he was nice and didn’t seem to be from the Titans or else he would have been sleeping there rather than an alley.
He hadn’t seemed to be in full control of his powers which made Terra a lot more comfortable, she wasn’t alone. “Yes, a fire would be nice if it wouldn’t be a bother.” She said finally. Terra was still a bit nervous about being out here with someone. She didn’t want found, she wasn’t much for being responsible and terrified this boy would shove her into it. “So do you mind me asking if you’re on a side?” she said shrugging, “You know teen titans or whomever their newest opponent is.” She finished picking up a rock with her mind and flinging it across the water gracefully, a nervous habit of hers, well that and losing all control of her powers but Terra has gotten that under a manageable amount of control by now.

Sahoni nodded. "Sure its easy, Grandpa Koga taught me that a long time ago, and lets face it I've had practice. Just follow me." Sahoni led her to some of the Bar-be-que pits in the park. "Can you gather some dead leaves or newspaper for tender?" he asked "I'm gonna get some logs." Sahoni came to a tree and breathed deep. The tree was skinny. Perfect for breaking. Bringing his knee up he turned his hip and ki'ed. His shin connected and the tree snapped, collapsing with a 'thud'. "That should be enough. Thank you tree for your gift." he said with a nod. As he stomp kicked the tree into smaller pieces he thought about her question. "I-I-I'm not sure. I just wanna go back to living a normal life. If either side could help me do that, then I'm in, otherwise. I just want to be left alone." He said truthfully.

Terra nodded to him smiling as she walked around, the breeze chilled her, but felt nice. Calming. After such a scare Terra was finally relaxing she didn’t know what to think about the boy anymore except he was quite intelligent, something she needed to gain.
She bent over picking up leaves, gingerly placing them in the crook of her arm, stacking them until she felt content with the amount. She heard the crack of a tree in the distance but chose to ignore it, she needed to keep focused on being relaxed, and having some distance to herself did that.
Walking back to Sahoni, Terra smiled: “I hope this is enough… I could have gotten more but I really hadn’t known.” She plopped down on the ground not really wanting to stand anymore, he still seemed nervous though.
His reply to her question was basic, a normal lifestyle. She wanted to tell him “that’s impossible” but felt better not to. She didn’t want to tell him her story either, Terra hadn’t been sure to trust him with her deep secrets yet, it was her burden and sharing it would only make it bigger.
“You know, it’s not really plausible to be normal. Best you can do is create a family for yourself. Trust me on that one.” She said ringing out her clothing. She was still wet though drying off slowly, by the time this fire was made Terra hoped she would still be wet so she could warm up faster but started doubting it would happen. She’d have to see how much skill this ‘werewolf’ had.

Sahoni the the logs against each other in the shape of a teepee. Setting the leaves in the middle of the middle of the teepee he smiled "Naw, thats enough Ms.Terra." He dug in his pockets until he found two pieces of flint. Fire building was one of the first skills Grandpa Koga taught him. The yellow sparks hit the leaves making the glow a light red. Sahoni blew on them lightly giving them fuel. "Give it a bit, soon well have an inferno." Sahoni listened to her. "Make me a new family huh? Yeah, like anyone would want to be friends with an insane monster like me." he said sadly. In Sahoni's opinion, until he could could control his powers he was useless. "I'm not exactly people material." he blushed.

Terra looked at him bewildered, “um, ms?” she asked perplexed. He was older than her, or so it seemed. Why should he be calling her an ms? She watched him put the flint to the fire, then a spark start the fire. The glow of its light had been comforting to Terra; the warmth it promised only added substance to her long for it to grow large and unruly.
She looked at it moving the palms of her hands towards it just to get the building heat from it, she was freezing and terrified of becoming ill from it. She looked at him unsure why he thought of himself as a monster. They were similar though, little did Terra realize.
“You aren’t a monster!” terra retorted, “You seem like a nice person and you even did this for me.” She said nodding her head towards the fire, Terra was truly grateful.
She looked down at her own palms confused, he had the same issue as her though; she couldn’t control her powers and believed herself as an abomination until she was capable of doing so. “I made a family… but I left them for what I thought was right. Too bad it wasn’t though. “She muttered watching the fire grow into a decent size. She was comfortable under the amber glow but still on edge from sharing as much as she did with this boy. “Trust me on this one.” She said quietly not meeting eye contact, she didn’t want to either. She wanted as much as he did though Terra was much pickier scared of her past relations.

"Sorry, I was raised to be very polite." he said blushing a deep ruby red. "Some say its 'southern charm' but heck, that makes me feel like I should be marching around a plantation exclaiming 'I DO DECLAIR MR.BEAUREGUARD!'" he said with a loud boisterous laugh. He had a big toothy grin. It had been a while since he was this happy. The wolf boy blushed more at the complement. "Wado, but you've never met my wolf side. He's boisterous, aggressive, and super macho. He's always trying to prove himself. A real alpha wolf type. Plus he's kinda a perv..." he said with big puppy eyes.

Terra shrugged at his apology, “it’s fine, I wasn’t really raised to be anything so that’s pretty cool.” She said smiling to him; he really did blush a lot didn’t he? Well, now he was cracking jokes at least. Terra couldn’t help but smile. It reminded her of someone, Beast Boy.
She looked down quickly as she thought of her green friend. What was he doing in the recesses of her mind? The day they had meant played like an old movie in her head; Terra shook herself vigorously trying to get it out.
With the emotion came the lack of control. She held onto her knees trying to stay calm though a surge of power came like a whirl wind. The rocks around her began to tremble as Terra shook herself once more. She needed to get out of this.
Within seconds of shaking herself she looked up, scared. Her blue eyes shaking with fear, “I’m sorry! I’m really sorry!” she said beginning to crawl away. She didn’t know what this boy would think and was scared of it too. She enjoyed his company; it was a nice addition to her constant loneliness.
She looked at him, eyes unmoving. She wanted to know what he thought about her now more than ever. He hadn’t control of his powers either so they really weren’t that different though people still judged even if the faults coincided with themselves.

"Whoa it looks like we have something in common." he said with a laugh. "I-i-it feels good to know your not alone..." he said. The wolf boy cleared his throat. "And don't worry about it. I mean how hypocritical of me would it be of me to be scared of you because of your powers?"
His eyes were soft and excepting. "I try not to judge. I'm morally against it.". He started to jab the embers and add more logs to keep the fire alive. Sahoni stared at the dirt a bit. "I-I-I could try to show you mine if you want..." He said unsure of the own words coming out of his mouth..

Terra looked at him wide eyed, how could he not see how horrible she was for not being capable of controlling her powers? She stared at him for a moment then figured he needed an explanation. “When I get over emotional my ability follows, as though it’s trying to protect me.” She said quietly, ashamed. “I have a decent amount of control over them though!” she said trying to redeem herself, but he wasn’t afraid of her. He was happy of her mistake. What was this boy? She looked at him critically before nodding, on his explanation.
“Well, thanks.” She said smiling lightly, “And really? That’d be really cool.” She said quietly. It was nice to have him around, really nice. She enjoyed having someone to talk to now and someone who understood of her situation. “If you don’t want to you don’t have to. I can show you some of the stuff I can do if you’d please.” She said her clothes nearly dry though, her falling in the water an old thought, it seemed to have occurred months or years before.
Her mind began to feel as though she was at ease with the boys, just like it had with the Teen Titans. It was as though she had known him for her entire life.
